Autograph Letter Signed to John C[amden] Hotten (1832-1873, publisher), 2½ pages 8vo (first page rather stained, and roughly repaired), 16 Cheyne Walk, 8 July 1867. Thanking him for a paper, promising to approach Hotten if he decides to undertake an editing assignment, etc.

'... Most certainly I will come to you, should I really edit that detestable rascal in any form, of which I am uncertain whether practicable or worth while. I am still collecting waifs and strays, and should any sketches turn up, should gladly have them. ...'

Rossetti concludes by asking Hotten the outcome of his interview 'with my friend Knewstub'.
