FOX, Henry, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley (1705-1774). Politician. Autograph Letter Signed to 'George Sellwyn' [probably George Augustus Selwyn (1719-1791, wit and politician)], 1 page 8vo with address-leaf (name only), 29 May 1754. An apparently magnanimous suggestion to a friend. 'If you'll leave the odd Money for me at Whites I shall be oblig'd to you. As to the Interest or Principal of the Bond. Pray take your own time. When you pay it I shall be glad, because I desire to think it a Proof of your being as I heartily wish, in great affluence.'Provenance: from a collection formed by A.M. Broadley in 1903. [No: 24723]
