HERBSTER, Maurice (1870-1951). Pioneer French aviator.
Postcard showing a Henri Farman biplane flown by Herbster, signed and inscribed, 12 December 1912 ('12.12.12'). Herbster. who had been Farman's mechanic and engineer, has also written the numbers of his flying licences, his pilot's licence, no. 41., and those for airships (no. 21) and balloons (175).
