MARKS, Henry Stacy (1829-1898). Artist.
Autograph Letter Signed to Keyser, 2 pages 8vo, 17 Hamilton Terrace, 14 October 1884, together with a pen-and-ink drawing of a penguin. Thanking Keyser for the gift of pipes ('they are sweet in smoking, light to hold, and for pipes not disagreeable to the eye') and for a message about a passage in Job, and declining Mrs Keyser's invitation.

The drawing was evidently sent as a new year's greeting for the following year.
