Photograph, 235 x 175 mm. (c. 9½ x 7 inches) overall, signed and inscribed in blue ink at the foot to Lily May Caldwell. In generally good condition, no date. The black-and-white glossy photograph shows Poulenc with the baritone Pierre Bernac (1899-1979) for whom Poulenc wrote most of his songs. The two are examining a musical score.
